  • Master of Architectural Engineering, Shahid Beheshti University, Tehran, Iran http://en.sbu.ac.ir/

  • Bachelor of Architecture, Islamic Azad University Central Tehran Branch, Tehran, Iran http://iauctb.ac.ir/fa

Projects:

  • Southeast EcoVillage Zero Carbon Affordable Mixed-Use Development, San Diego, CA

    • This 98,000 SF Carbon-neutral development focuses on emerging technologies to minimize energy consumption and maximize on-site energy generation in an affordable multifamily project.

  • VTA Ohlone Block A High-Rise Residential Development, San Jose, CA.

    • VTA residential tower is a 12-story residential tower with 263 units and 480,487 SF located in San Jose near Google village. This development includes dwelling units, retail spaces, common spaces, a gymnasium, and a parking garage. VTA residential tower pursued LEED v.4 Silver certification.

  • Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA) Office Building, Sacramento, CA

    • The DCA office building has 20,000 SF and will undergo renovation with a LEED ID+C- Commercial Interiors v.4 Silver certification target.

Honors, Awards, & Grants Received:

  • Department of Energy (DOE) Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR), 2021 Grant

    • ENERlite Consulting, Inc. was awarded the SBIR/STTR 2021 Small Business grant from the Department of Energy for the advancement of an automated calibration tool for building energy models called “ENERtune”. The tool uses machine learning to optimize building energy models based on their actual utility data. User interaction is added to the calibration process to produce more relevant and realistic models of buildings.

  • California Energy Commission (CEC) The Next EPIC Challenge: Reimagining Affordable Mixed-Use Development in a Carbon-Constrained Future, 2022

    • ENERlite Consulting, Inc. was awarded the CEC EPIC grant from to design an affordable net zero carbon mixed-use development in San Diego, CA in collaboration with the Communities for Global Sustainability (C4GS- ZEDlife). ENERlite has provided building performance analysis and simulation for this complex and high-tech development and provided early-stage analysis, energy modeling, daylight analysis, Photovoltaic (PV) energy generation, battery storage estimation, operational carbon emissions analysis, and embodied carbon analysis.
