NET ZERO CONSULTING
ENERlite strives to help design teams achieve Net Zero Carbon and Net Zero Energy in their projects. To reach that goal, a project team utilizes a holistic approach to energy consumption reduction, starting with the building’s physical form and orientation and using passive strategies. Then the team chooses a highly efficient HVAC system, followed by the potential for a renewable energy system. To achieve Net Zero Carbon, embodied carbon analysis occurs simultaneously to find out the total carbon debt that should be paid off by renewable energy systems.

ENERlite uses a variety of tools such as IES-VE, DesignBuilder, and EnergyPlus depending on the project type and need.

Early design analysis intends to help architects achieve energy-efficient form and orientation in their designs from the beginning. It includes climate data analysis, shading studies, solar radiation studies, indoor and outdoor thermal comfort Studies, and daylight modeling. ENERlite uses Ladybug and Honeybee tools to perform these analyses.

AUTOMATED CALIBRATION OF ENERGY MODELS
