Ladan Ghobad, CEO of ENERlite Consulting Inc, is a 40 Under 40 Class of 2021.

Ladan started her sustainable design firm ENERlite Consulting Inc. to pursue a practice she had studied in graduate school — the analysis of a building's potential to reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions.

Ladan launched ENERlite Consulting in 2020 after seven years as an energy analyst at engineering consulting firms in Washington D.C. and Sacramento, where she helped engineer buildings such as the state of California's new Clifford L. Allenby Building in Downtown Sacramento for greater energy efficiency.

In June 2021, ENERlite won a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grant from the U.S. Department of Energy to develop technology for automated calibration of building energy models.

Ladan Ghobad is a 40 Under 40 honoree of the Sacramento Business Journal in 2021.
